Deskless is available as a native app for Apple and Android phones and tablets.

Keep enough free storage for the app, your local projects, Git history, and any previews you generate.
Deskless 2.0 for iOS is ready and optimized for iOS 27, with continued iOS 26 support. Full Duo support is planned before iOS 27 launches. Android layouts also adapt to foldables and multi-window use.

You can also search for Deskless in the store on your device. Confirm that the publisher is Lowcountry Code Labs LLC before installing.
First launch
The welcome flow introduces the editor, Git, and the bring-your-own-key AI model. After onboarding you can:
- Create a local project or open an existing folder.
- Clone a repository over HTTPS or SSH.
- Choose a theme and editor preferences.
- Add an AI provider key now, or skip it and configure AI later.
- Review the Free and Pro options shown by your local app store.
Tip: You do not need an AI provider key to use the editor. Add one only when you want cloud AI actions or Agent Mode.
