Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Deskless mobile applications and related services provided by Lowcountry Code Labs LLC (“Deskless,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Deskless, you agree to these Terms.
1. License and permitted use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Deskless for lawful personal or professional software-development purposes, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store from which you obtained it.
You may not unlawfully reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to Deskless or related systems.
2. Your projects and responsibility
You retain all rights to source code, files, repositories, prompts, and other content you use with Deskless. Local content remains under your control. You are responsible for backups, access permissions, repository authorization, software licenses, and the consequences of edits, Git operations, or deployed code.
3. AI features
AI output can be incomplete, insecure, inaccurate, or unsuitable. Deskless provides review controls, but you remain responsible for inspecting, testing, and approving every change. Do not submit confidential data, personal information, or third-party code to an AI provider unless you are authorized to do so.
Cloud AI features use the provider and API key you configure. Your relationship with that provider is governed by its terms, pricing, availability, and data practices.
4. Git and other third-party services
Deskless can connect to Git hosts and other services you choose. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, conduct, data practices, or terms. You are responsible for securing and revoking your credentials when necessary.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Paid features may be offered as subscriptions or one-time purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price, currency, tax, trial eligibility, renewal terms, and available options shown by your store at purchase are controlling.
- Recurring subscriptions renew according to the terms shown by the store unless cancelled in time.
- Manage or cancel through the store account used to purchase Deskless.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under the applicable store policy.
- Access may require the app to verify an active entitlement with the store.
6. Availability and changes
We may change, add, remove, or discontinue features and update system requirements. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or a violation of these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DESKLESS IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR ERROR-FREE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOWCOUNTRY CODE LABS LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, CODE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO DESKLESS.
9. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Lowcountry Code Labs LLC harmless from claims arising from your unlawful use of Deskless, your content, or your violation of these Terms or another party’s rights.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer law requires otherwise.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date above identifies the latest version. Continuing to use Deskless after an update means you accept the revised Terms, subject to applicable law.
